About Me

My photo
Hiking*Hawk
Our lives are so hectic. I tell stories and take pictures to remember it and to be able to share it with my family. I try new (others) and write (mine) new recipes because food is fabulous! I am honest because I believe we learn something from what others put into the world. I am the behind the scenes person of my family – I am the keeper of the photos, the mementos, the calendar. I wash it up, ring it out and collect it (with some of the dingy stuff cleaned off) because one day, my family (and myself) may want to remember what it was like when… I want to share some of the beauty of life with my children through my eyes. They'll see: people growing, a family finding their feet, exploring through Mother Nature's landscape, trying new things in the kitchen (indoors and out), having fun through arts and crafts and a general record of our life, the times, our friends and us...a family.
